Ticket prices for Black Sabbath’s final show at Villa Park in hometown Birmingham have been revealed, with all profits set to go to charity.
A pre-sale went live this morning for select fans only on Ticketmaster which said that “tickets have been priced in advance by the tour ranging from £197.50 ($245/€237) to £834”.
The prices do not include VIP packages, and proceeds will be split equally between Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
The concert, titled “Back to the Beginning”, is due to take place on July 5 and will see Black Sabbath’s most familiar line-up of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward play live together for the first time in two decades.
Other acts including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Tom Morello, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan, and Slash and Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses are set to perform.
“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy Osbourne said.
“How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
General sale is due to begin at 10am GMT following today’s pre-sale.
