CTS Eventim’s preliminary results suggest record year

Preliminary results have suggested that CTS Eventim achieved record revenue and earnings in 2024.

The Bremen-headquartered ticketing and live entertainment company also delivered dynamic growth across each of its business segments last year, while a strong fourth quarter helped the group achieve the new record figures.

According to the preliminary results, consolidated revenue rose by 19.1% year-on-year to reach €2.8bn (£2.3bn/$2.9bn), compared to 2023’s €2.36bn.

The group’s adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) totalled €542.2m in 2024, compared to €444.8m the year prior. This represents an increase of 21.9%.

Within the ticketing segment, revenue rose by 22.7% to reach €879.9m in 2024 from €717.3m in 2023. Additionally, adjusted EBITDA in this sector amounted to €416.5m compared with €343.9m in 2023 – an increase of 21.1%.

The entertainment segment saw revenue climb 17.6% to reach €1.97bn compared to €1.7bn. Adjusted EBITDA also improved by 24.4% to tap €125.6m compared to €101m the year prior.

CTS Eventim expects to publish its full annual report for 2024 on March 27.
