Digonex has appointed Tom Chiarella as its new chief product and technology officer.
Chiarella brings more than a decade of product management experience to the company and has most recently served as executive vice-president and head of product at Gateway Ticketing Systems.
“We are honoured to have Tom join the team”, said Digonex chief executive Greg Loewen.
“As we enter a period of significant opportunity and growth, Tom’s vision and leadership will play an important role in shaping the future of our business.”

Gigantic Tickets undergoes board restructure
Gigantic Tickets has made Simon Carpenter and Joe Lilley its chief executive and chief technology officer, respectively, as part of a board restructure.
The change also sees founder Mark Gasson and previous chief technology officer James Woodward move into the position of joint chairmen with immediate effect.
Last year, Carpenter joined the board as a director and co-chief executive while Lilley has been part of Gigantic Ticket’s core technical team for more than 13 years.
“Working alongside Mark over the years has been a privilege and I am grateful for his support and mentorship in his new chairman role,” Carpenter said.
“We have an exciting future ahead of us, and I’m proud to be leading the team alongside Joe and delivering the best platform for our clients and customers.”
New head of marketing for The Capitol Theatre
The Capitol Theatre in New York has appointed Stefanie May as its marketing director.
She previously worked at the venue as marketing coordinator and then marketing director from 2014 to 2022.
May has also worked for Brooklyn Made Presents and Fairfield Theatre Company.
“Stef May has the heart and soul of The Capitol Theatre within her, so we are particularly thrilled to have her back home,” said The Capitol Theatre’s owner Peter Shapiro.
“The Cap is in very good hands as we head towards our 100th Anniversary year in 2026!”
DF Concerts and Events chief executive Geoff Ellis has been honoured with the National Arenas Award 2024 for Outstanding Contribution to the Live Entertainment Industry.
He has 40 years of experience in live music and has helped to bring world-renowned artists to venues including the OVO Hydro and P&J Live.
“It means so much to be recognised by colleagues, all working together to both present life-affirming live events but to also keep our wonderful live music industry moving forward,” he said.
“It is a genuine honour but also very humbling to be in such esteemed company as the previous recipients.”
