Billie Eilish has broken the Qudos Bank Arena attendance record with her February 28 performance as part of the Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour.

Some 21,001 fans packed into the Sydney venue, which is owned by TEG but operated by ASM Global, surpassing the 20,839 total set by Justin Timberlake for the FutureSex/LoveShow Tour in November 2007.

In fact, three of the four dates performed by the nine-times Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter at Qudos Bank Arena eclipsed the previous attendance record.

“Live entertainment is thriving and the phenomenal results we are seeing from this current run of events are testament to that,” commented Qudos Bank Arena’s general manager, Steve Hevern.

“These events captivate live entertainment fans and bring thousands of visitors to Sydney adding to its vibrancy and with substantial economic impact.”

The venue, which opened in 1999 ahead of the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Australia and is located in Sydney’s Olympic Park, has a jam-packed schedule in 2025.

This year’s schedule kicked off with the hosting of UFC 312 which broke the arena’s box office record, before leading into a stellar music line-up featuring Bryan Adams, Drake, Kylie Minogue, Chris Stapleton, Dua Lipa and Cody Johnson.

In December, Qudos Bank Arena revealed that it had been collaborating with multicultural agency CulturalPulse to become a true venue for diverse indoor entertainment.

The agency assisted the venue in further engaging its audience through segmented marketing strategies and culturally customised communications.
