Lady Gaga has announced that she will be performing in Mexico City on April 26 at the capital’s Estadio GNP Seguros.
The performance will mark her first show in Mexico for 13 years and it will be produced by Live Nation and OCESA.
It will be in support of her upcoming seventh album, “Mayhem”, and a ticket pre-sale is set to begin on Thursday (March 6) at 2pm local time for Banamex cardholders.
General ticket sales will then start a day later at the same time.
“¡Viva La MAYHEM! We’re coming back. Mexico City. Estadio GNP Seguros. April 26,” the singer wrote on social media.
The last time Lady Gaga performed in Mexico was in the same venue in 2012 as part of her Born This Way Ball tour.
The announcement comes after she also told fans she was returning to Brazil for the first time since 2012.
Lady Gaga is due to perform a free concert at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach on May 3, titled Mayhem on the Beach.
It will take place near the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel and is open to the public through a first-come, first-served basis.
The show is part of the Todo Mundo no Rio initiative by the city’s government which aims to transform Copacabana Beach into a stage for major international music attractions.
