The Los Angeles Dodgers are capitalising on last year’s World Series win as the team has topped the average ticket sale price chart for the 2025 Major League Baseball (MLB) season.

In a report by Vivid Seats, it found that the median selling price for home and away Dodgers tickets stood at a league high $181 (£139/€165).

The 2025 MLB Fan Loyalty Report took into account tickets sold as of last month for the upcoming season, which is scheduled to take place from March 18 to September 28.

The figure is $40 more than the next highest average ticket price, belonging to the Boston Red Sox.

The report claims that it’s a 25% increase from the average price of Dodgers tickets in the 2024 season and the second-largest year-on-year increase among all teams. Only the Detroit Tigers saw a bigger increase in ticket prices at 29%.

The Dodgers also account for three of the most expensive single-game tickets in the upcoming season.

Aside from the MLB All-Star Game, which is the most expensive overall match at $837, the Dodgers’ home opener against the Tigers averages at $604, which is the highest-priced regular-season fixture.

Consecutive games against the New York Yankees in June are the next most expensive with average prices of $436 and $414.

The Dodgers’ travelling fans also led the way with their support at away games.

“The Los Angeles Dodgers once again show up with a highly dedicated fan base, taking up an average of 42% of ballparks on the road, shortly followed by World Series rivals, the New York Yankees, with 41% of the crowds at away games,” read a Vivid Seats statement.

“Meanwhile, fans are willing to travel the farthest this season to Fenway Park to catch the Boston Red Sox, averaging over 890 miles.”
