The new enterprise ticketing platform will then launch ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season, with Bournemouth supporters to benefit from an enhanced mobile-first digital ticketing experience.
As part of the deal, Bournemouth will introduce fully digital ticketing, making mobile entry the standard for matchday access. The move will aim to eliminate the need for paper tickets and streamline stadium entry.
Nick Zombolas, Bournemouth’s chief ticketing officer, commented: “Our supporters expect a smooth and reliable ticketing experience, and we knew we needed a partner that could deliver. SeatGeek’s technology will give our fans more confidence when purchasing tickets and make it easier to get into the stadium on matchday.”
Jordan Hitchen, director, EMEA, at SeatGeek, added: “AFC Bournemouth is a club with an incredibly passionate fan base, and we are excited to bring our technology to the Cherries faithful.
“Our platform is designed to provide a seamless ticketing experience, from the moment a fan purchases their seat to the second they enter the stadium. We look forward to working with the club to introduce a mobile-first, fan-friendly approach to ticketing.”
SeatGeek already has a large presence in English football, and has partnerships in place with fellow Premier League contenders Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle United.
The ticketing technology firm also has a number of deals with clubs in the EFL Championship, the second tier of men’s football in the country.
It was recently announced that SeatGeek was made the official ticket marketplace for Major League Baseball (MLB)’s Cleveland Guardians.
