Cricket fans can buy tickets for Titans games from today (March 5) ahead of the team’s opener against Punjab Kings at the vast Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 25.
District was launched last year after online commerce giant Zomato acquired Paytm’s ticketing business. Paytm had a number of IPL partners before the deal was finalised.
While the Titans are the first team to be confirmed as a District by Zomato partner, the platform is also selling tickets for other IPL franchises. The District site also highlights fellow IPL teams Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Since its launch, District has also recently ticketed Indian international cricket games. It is the official ticketing partner for the Entertainers Cricket League and Indian Street Premier League (ISPL).
Multi-modal ticketing system
Arvinder Singh, chief operating officer of Gujarat Titans, said: “Fans are the backbone of any team and to ensure that they have a wholesome experience is a priority. Since the time we started playing at our home stadium – the Narendra Modi Stadium – we have given utmost attention to how we can enhance the match-viewing experience for fans and spectators.
“Last year, we had over 90% of the tickets being purchased online and delivered to our fans at home. As the 2025 season is set to commence, we have come up with a multi-modal ticketing system that would give our fans a seamless experience from getting their tickets to enjoying their time at the stadium.”
Zomato launched the District app in November and had crossed 6.5 million downloads by January 2025.
