The Summer Fest is set to feature a lineup of between three and four international acts as well as a roster of Indian talent.
“Sunburn has always been at the forefront of creating unforgettable music experiences and we’re thrilled to introduce the Summer Fest,” said Sunburn chief executive Karan Singh.
“With Shillong and Bengaluru as our debut destinations, we’re bringing a unique blend of music, culture and summer energy to two incredible cities.
“This is just the beginning of a new tradition that will redefine summer festivals in India.”
Tickets are available exclusively through Indian entertainment company BookMyShow with prices starting at ₹1,200 (£10.80/$14/€13).
“More than just a music festival, it’s a high-energy celebration of summer, music and cultural synergy,” read a statement from the organisers.
“Festivalgoers can expect a multi-sensory experience, featuring larger-than-life stage designs, immersive art installations and interactive summer-themed decor that captures the essence of the season.”
The main Sunburn festival usually attracts around 150,000 attendees and has been held in Vagator since the inaugural edition in 2007.
However, last year saw it change destination for the first time as it was staged in Goa from December 28 to 30.
