Tyler, the Creator is among the headliners for this year’s Lollapalooza festival after cancelling his appearance at the 2024 edition.
The rapper will take to the stage at the event in Chicago’s Grant Park which is scheduled to run from July 31 to August 3. He cited “personal reasons” for his absence last year and is one of the main acts again for 2025.
The Grammy Award-winner is joined by Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Rüfüs Du Sol, Luke Combs, Twice, A$AP Rocky, Korn, Gracie Abrams, and Doechii as headliners.
Combs is due to make history as the first country music artist to close the festival, while Twice will be the first female K-pop group to headliner. For Korn, it is the metal band’s first appearance at Lollapalooza since 1997.
The four-day event will feature more than 170 artists performing across eight stages.
Other notable acts for this year include Clairo, Cage the Elephant, Bleachers, T-Pain, The Marías, Finneas, Marina, Magdalena Bay, Fujii Kaze, Barry Can’t Swim, Gigi Perez, Jane Remover, Mariah the Scientist, the Dare, and Del Water Gap.
The first wave of tickets for Lollapalooza 2025 are due to go on sale tomorrow at 10am Central Time.
Four-day general admission tickets start at $385 (£297/€353). Children aged eight and under are allowed free entry with a ticketed adult.
Lollapalooza’s inaugural edition was held in 1991 and has gone on to welcome an estimated 400,000 people each July.
Since then it has expanded internationally and held events in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Sweden, France, Israel, and India.
