Football’s European governing body will reduce away tickets to a limit of €50 (£41/$52) in the Champions League.
This is down from the €60 cap that was put in place for the current season.
Meanwhile, the highest prices for visiting fans in the Europa League are down to €35 from €40.
“Home clubs must make at least 5% of the UEFA spectator capacity available to visiting fans – the text in the Champions League regulations,” reads UEFA regulations.
“The price of the relevant tickets must not exceed the price paid by home fans for adult tickets in a comparable sector of the stadium (including tickets sold to season ticket holders, club members and/or as part of any promotion or promotional package comprising exclusively tickets for UEFA competitions).
“Furthermore, under no circumstances must the price of these tickets for visiting fans exceed €50.”
Last year’s decision to lower the maximum price of away tickets was made by UEFA after a consultation period with the European Club Association and Football Supporters Europe.
It was primarily made to recognise the importance of away fans to the atmosphere of European club fixtures as well as to improve the overall match experience for supporters.
