London festival Mighty Hoopla has selected Tixel as its exclusive resale partner for 2025.
Mighty Hoopla is a pop festival that welcomes 60,000 guests every year, with 2025’s edition featuring a stellar line-up of acts including Ciara, Jade, Kesha, JoJo and Loreen.
Australian company Tixel first launched in the UK in 2021.
Since then, it has already grown its portfolio of partners to include some of the UK’s most loved festival events such as Boardmasters, Kendal Calling, Love Saves the Day, 2000 Trees, We Out Here Festival, Bloodstock Open Air and more.
Tixel aims to make resale ticketing fairer, by verifying tickets using smart technology and having a price cap in place. This means that ticket-holders will be able to recoup the price of their original tickets, including fees, while those that missed out the first time can access tickets without the worry of profiteering.
“Mighty Hoopla is such a brilliant festival – it’s so unique, the line-up is stacked every year, and it always sells out fast, which says a lot about the amazing team behind it,” commented Matt Kaplan, Tixel’s head of UK/EU.
“The festival really fits with Tixel’s mission to make live events more inclusive, accessible, and fan-friendly. By offering a fair and safe resale option, we’re helping fans who missed out or whose plans have changed, while also supporting Hoopla to keep building on their success in a constantly shifting market.”
Mighty Hoopla will take place between May 31 and June 1, and will also feature performances from Lemar, Kate Nash, Pixie Lott and Jamelia.
“As we head into another sold out year, it’s really important that our audience are able to access resale tickets at a fair price for both buyers and those who are no longer able to attend,” added Jamie Tagg, Mighty Hoopla’s festival director.
“Tixel’s technology gives our customers full transparency across the entire sale process and we are really excited to offer that opportunity to our crowd allowing us to focus on delivering our biggest ever show.”
