Music Glue, a London-based e-commerce platform for the music industry, has unveiled a newly enhanced direct-to-fan ticketing solution.
The upgraded platform will offer a seamless and transparent way for artists to sell tickets directly to fans from a single, integrated store. The service will continue to offer a straightforward 10% booking fee and no hidden charges.
Music Glue was launched in 2007 and is utilised by artists, labels, merchandisers and venues to sell music, merch, tickets and experiences to fans from one customisable store.
Key features of the enhanced direct-to-fan ticketing platform include worldwide ticketing capabilities; high-traffic tech infrastructure; a fully managed presale service; album preorder-to-presale access; custom-branded artist pages; and the ability to sell VIP and Meet & Greet experiences.
The ticketing feature is fully integrated into the newly updated Music Glue e-commerce platform and is available to all customers regardless of the plan they are on.
“Music Glue is built on the belief that artists should be in control of their careers,” said Mark Meharry, founder and chief executive of Music Glue.
“We have sold millions of tickets on behalf of artists over the last 18 years and have now launched our fully enhanced one-stop shop that seamlessly upgrades the direct-to-fan ticketing experience and connects artists with fans in the most efficient, transparent, and profitable way possible, while giving them full autonomy over their own data.
“Whether an artist is playing a 200-cap club or a stadium, our fully upgraded ticketing platform scales with them.”
