Marseille rapper Jul attracted a record-breaking attendance to the Stade de France on Saturday (April 26), with the number reaching 97,816.
Spectators packed the venue for the concert, beating the previous record held by French band Indochine. Some 97,036 attended that concert in 2022.
The weekend’s show marked Jul’s first concert at the Stade de France, with tickets snapped up in minutes. It was also the rapper’s only Paris date, and those unlucky in the ticket sales were able to watch a live-stream of the performance for €10 (£8.50/$11).
Roughly 25,000 people watched the live stream, in addition to those physically in attendance.
