Smeetz has extended its partnership with The Crocky Trail, an adventure park based in the UK city of Chester.
The Crocky Trail has opted to partner with Smeetz, a provider of smart all-in-one ticketing software for leisure and cultural attractions, for the last four years. The adventure park was one of the first clients to collaborate with Smeetz following its entry into the UK market.
Switzerland-headquartered Smeetz will now support The Crocky Trail’s food and beverage services through its unified commerce platform.
The partnership originally began with an online ticketing system, before evolving into a more comprehensive offering. Last year, Smeetz and The Crocky Trail developed a solution to tackle the issues surrounding staffing and queueing in the cafe and ice cream parlour.
The adventure park was able to reduce staffing expenses, optimise operations and enhance customer experience by installing self-service kiosks and a full Kitchen Display System (KDS).
As a result, sales shot up by more than 30% with issues relating to seasonal staffing shortages were resolved.
Smeetz also provided an on-site point-of-sale solution to enable ticket sales at the entrance, which has led to an increase in ticket sales.
