Stager, an all-in-one ticketing, marketing and event planning system for organisers, has partnered with music streaming giant Spotify.
The Dutch company works with festivals, nightclubs and music venues across Europe. Stager allows organisers to automatically publish their events on a network of partner channels in order to reach new audiences.
Spotify is the latest system to partner with Stager.
Event organisers utilising Stager can list an artist’s upcoming event at their venue or festival directly on their Spotify artist pages. This helps to drive ticket sales as organisers are able to engage listeners in a targeted capacity.
“We are incredibly proud to make this integration available to our users,” commented Mike van Gaasbeek, founder and chief executive of Stager.
“Thanks to the collaboration with Spotify, our customers can reach fans in a very targeted way. This integration fits perfectly with our strategy: offering a platform that is smartly connected with valuable partner channels, so that our customers truly benefit from our all-in-one system. That’s why we are very happy with this collaboration with Spotify.”
More than 21,000 artists, each with their own unique engaged fanbase, played a show at a venue, club, or festival using Stager.
Jon Ostrow, head of business development, live music at Spotify, added: “We’re very excited to partner with Stager to help bring live music fans together with the artists they love in The Netherlands and across Europe.
“With this integration, Stager events will seamlessly appear throughout Spotify on surfaces like our brand new Concerts Near You playlist to make sure live music fans never miss a concert because they didn’t know it was happening.”
