Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries…
Ticketbud’s Reporter Collaborator role
Ticketbud has launched a user access tool that offers event teams the ability to access all the data they require, while limiting event page set-up and ticketing controls to event leaders and team members that need it. The event ticketing and registration platform’s Reporter Collaborator role is a user access role, or site login credential, designed to provide read-only access to financial transactional data of specific events hosted on Ticketbud. This enables finance and marketing teams to monitor event metrics, track sales performance, and analyse data effectively without the risk of accidentally altering critical event details, ticket types, or operational settings.
Superfans
Superfan platform Sesh has raised $7m (£5.2m/€6.1m) to date, led by Miura Global with participation from angel investors across the music and tech industries. Sesh is a platform that connects fans with artists through interactive experiences, exclusive content and live events. It aims to use the funds to expand the platform’s capabilities, onboard further artists, and enhance its technology to provide more engagement opportunities. The company is also set to launch a Member Card which allows fans to register and download a digital pass to their phone’s wallet, with artists able to send direct push notifications about new music releases, exclusive merch drops and more.
Bob Marley Hope Road
An immersive Bob Marley experience is set to open at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas in June. Tickets officially went on sale earlier this week. The project, dubbed Bob Marley Hope Road, is a collaboration between Primary Wave Music and production company FiveCurrents. The production will offer a dual format that operates as an interactive attraction by day, and a live performance venue at night.
