Crown Resorts has extended its partnership with Ticketmaster Australia, with the latter set to continue as the exclusive ticketing partner for Crown’s theatre and music venues throughout the country.
Crown Resorts is one of Australia’s largest entertainment groups and operates three integrated resorts in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Melbourne features luxury accommodation, dining, and bars and clubs alongside its casino, as well as boutique shopping and a range of entertainment facilities.
Crown Perth features three hotels, restaurants and bars, premium shopping and more alongside the casino, and a 2,300-seat theatre. Crown Sydney is the newest resort and opened in 2020.
The partnership will enable Crown to utilise Ticketmaster’s distributed commerce platform, extending events through streaming services, video platforms, online travel agencies and event aggregators.
Marking an Australian first with Ticketmaster, Crown will also partner with Headout, an online travel marketplace, to enhance event reach. Headout’s global audience across 300 cities will help to drive increased ticket sales through their travel and experiences marketplace.
“Ticketmaster and Crown Resorts have enjoyed a long-standing partnership, united by a shared vision to deliver a world-class ticketing experience for fans,” said Gavin Taylor, managing director of Ticketmaster Australia.
“We are excited to extend our partnership, continuing our joint efforts to grow audiences, drive innovation and provide fans with unparalleled access to top-tier events.”
Judy Vince, Crown Resorts’ group general manager of Crown Theatres, added: “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Ticketmaster to elevate the live entertainment experience across our venues.
“With the upcoming renovation of The Palms at Crown Melbourne and the world-class shows regularly hosted at Crown Perth, this collaboration ensures our guests have seamless access to some of the most unforgettable performances in the country. It’s an exciting step forward as we continue to bring unforgettable entertainment to our guests and community.”
