Box Office Sales Advisor

ATG Entertainment is proud to stand at the forefront of the live entertainment industry.

Our expertise and capabilities enable producers and other creatives to bring their visions to life and create unforgettable performances for audiences, presented in our landmark venues and delivered with exceptional hospitality. It is the passion of our teams, that cover every discipline across the live entertainment industry, that underpins our continuing strategic growth and success.

The origins of the Lyceum Theatre date to 1765 but has been rebuilt several times since. We have a varied and interesting history, we can claim to have hosted the first London exhibition of waxworks by Madame Tussaud, were owned and managed by Henry Irving, and have avoided demolition more than once. In the 1960s and 1970s The Lyceum Ballroom was a successful dancehall and concert venue, where many well-known artists played, including Bob Marley and Jimi Hendricks. After a huge refurbishment in the mid-1990s, The Lyceum reopened as a theatre hosting Jesus Christ Superstar and Oklahoma, before welcoming Disney’s The Lion King in October 1999. We are proud to be celebrating The Lion King’s 25th anniversary in October 2024.

As a Box Office Sales Advisor you’ll deliver the highest standard of customer service in order to maximise sales, productivity and occupancy of the venue. You’ll interact with all customers, agents, producers, company members and colleagues with a cheerful and helpful demeanour, treating all customers as VIPs, conveying enthusiasm for our show, tickets and packages. In a typical day you’ll process customer and trade bookings with utmost accuracy using the in-house Ticketing System, Audience View. The ideal candidate will be passionate and ambitious, with a true desire to work in a fast-paced sales environment.

Previous experience in using Audience View or experience of working in a Box Office is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for someone proactive and with a positive attitude to delivering great customer service, who can convey enthusiasm for The Lion King and the theatre to everyone visiting our venue. Please take a look at our job description download for further details of the role and responsibilities. We actively encourage applications from people from the widest possible range of backgrounds, including those who are currently underrepresented in this industry.
