We are hiring for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with a focus on both the Theatre & Attractions sector

Job Description

Tickets for Good operates a closed platform providing free and discounted tickets to people that deserve them – NHS workers, Charity workers & Volunteers and people affected by the cost of living crisis.

We are hiring for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with a focus on organisations that have the potential to partner with us on large ticket allocations. This includes researching and analysing potential markets, opening relationships with prospective partners & clients and overseeing client handovers from new business to account management team. In addition, you will work with the Director of (D/O) Ticketing & Growth and the Strategy Director to develop strategies to grow the amount of regularly allocated tickets the company is receiving.

You will lead on both the Theatre and Attractions sectors, while also supporting the D/O Ticketing & Growth with priority Music & Comedy clients and the other Business Development Manager with their sports prospects. You will be a key contributor to the company’s growth and success, and will need to be good at taking initiative, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of the company by overseeing the introduction of some of the company’s most important prospective clients. You will need to be a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, and a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering exceptional business development growth.

 

Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in business development, sales, relationship management with experience.

Alternatively we’re open to applicants with 2+ years experience working in UK Theatre with a strong personal network of contacts across the sector.

Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.

Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct market research, identify trends, and develop business strategies.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and CRM systems (Zoho CRM experience is a plus). Train

Job Responsibilities

Conducting market research to identify and evaluate potential business growth opportunities.

Proactively reaching out to prospective clients and partners to establish relationships and identify potential business opportunities.

Assisting the Director of Ticketing & Growth and the Strategy Director to develop and present proposals and pitch documents to prospective clients.

Tracking and report on the progress of business development efforts, including preparing reports and presentations for the D/O Ticketing & Growth and other stakeholders.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities in the Zoho CRM system

Collaborating with the rest of the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company’s business goals and objectives.

Overseeing the systems and processes that ensure a successful handover of clients from the new business to account management team.
