Club Services Representative – Membership (Fixed Term Contract)

The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) manages the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), one of Australia’s greatest assets. The MCG is host to more than 70 major events annually attracting over three million patrons and visitors.

The Club Services & Heritage department at the MCC is responsible for providing a high quality of service to approximately 150,000 Melbourne Cricket Club members as well as patrons of the MCG.

As we near the busy membership subscription period, the opportunity has arisen to recruit a MCC Club Services Representative- Membership position for a fixed term to work full time hours – Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 5pm and occasional weekends.

The role would provide accurate, timely and excellent customer service to MCC members during the week and match days. It includes assisting with and resolving member and guest queries in person at Membership Services as well as via email, web messaging or over the phone.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the delivery of exceptional customer service. Experience with ticketing systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferable. This role would require excellent verbal communication skills, a friendly and welcoming manner with high attention to detail.

In-addition you will need to know how to build relationships, be able to talk to people from all walks of life, be well equipped to anticipate customers’ requirements and recommend appropriate solutions, all with a smile! This is a busy role for people who are passionate about creating a great customer experience.

Flexibility is required for this role where you will need to be available for event day duties on week nights, public holidays and weekends is essential, and also to work occasionally on week days.
