This is an exciting opportunity for a data scientist to join a private equity backed, multi-site entertainment business which is growing, both in the UK and internationally. You’ll have a foundational role in a growing team, with plenty of scope to develop, and your work will make an immediate impact on the direction and success of the business.

We’re a global leader in live entertainment, operating 57 iconic venues in the UK, US and Germany, and a number of market-leading ticketing brands selling over 11 million UK tickets in a typical year. We have a wealth of guest data, with millions of guests visiting, eating and drinking in our theatres every year, and there is a growing need to bring data science and machine learning to our decision making process. You’ll explore the data we have, build models and work with teams around the business to help them meet our audience’s needs, aiming to improve revenue, customer satisfaction, retention and acquisition by delivering actionable insight. Your work will directly improve our digital and direct marketing, maximising the value that both our customers and ATG gain from every touchpoint though their journey with us, from their first research to coming back to our theatres time and again.

You’ll be part of a growing team collaborating with Technology, Product, CRM, Loyalty, Venue and Digital Marketing teams. We are migrating our data to an Azure platform and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst contributing to our longer-term direction.

Please take a look at our job description download for further details. If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we’d like to hear from you! Experience from within any particular sector is not required and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry. We’re open to recruiting at varying levels of experience. The role is based in our central London office for an anticipated two days per week; we’re open to discussing remote or flexible working patterns at any stage of the recruitment process.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture. Find out more about us and our values at atg.co.uk and careers.atg.co.uk
