Digital Marketing Manager – Edgbaston, UK
Job Purpose
- Drive the Club’s digital strategy across the business to grow reach, engagement and commercial hit KPIs.
- Unlock the growth potential of the Club’s digital platforms including venue app, website, live streaming, ticketing provider and social channels domestically and internationally.
- Analysis of digital campaigns and content to ensure effectiveness, maximise ROI and shape future engagement plans.
- Take ownership of innovation and evaluation of third-party technologies to ensure Edgbaston and Warwickshire CCC is at the leading edge of digital execution across sport, not just cricket.

Role Profile and Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver creative, impactful data-driven digital marketing campaigns for all areas of the business, supporting the Head of Marketing.
- Manage the Club’s venue app and its continual development, maximising its potential as a marketing tool and enhancing the in-venue experience.
- Deliver improved SEO on the Club’s website across both cricket and C&E.
- Develop and deliver paid digital media campaigns, with increased ROI.
- Continual development of the Club’s website focusing on content (in conjunction with the Communications team), functionality and interaction – improving the fan experience and delivering on data-capture and engagement objectives.
- Take ownership of the analysis of all digital campaigns to deliver commercially impactful audience insights, and performance to ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness and ROI.
- Develop clear target audiences and objectives for the Club’s social media channels and work with the Digital Media Manager to develop content.
- Continual analysis of all digital content to inform future plans to maximise engagement and reach.
- Database management, growth and analysis to increase the engaged community and deliver deeper insights into requirements.
- Devise and execute the Club’s CRM strategy to improve reach and engagement through targeted and personalised direct campaigns.
Major Objectives
- Grow the Club’s digital audience across all platforms and opted-in database to improve reach and engagement in line with KPIs.
- Increase adoption of, and frequency of engagement with, the Club’s venue app.
- Support the growth of ticket sales across our cricket portfolio.
- Improved SEO across the Club’s website, measuring long-tail keywords.
- Ensure our CRM is accurate, up-to-date and remains relevant.
- Analysis of all digital campaigns demonstrating value and ROI.
- Deliver impactful and targeted direct campaigns, achieving set open and click-through rates.
- Identify possible digital monetisation opportunities to support the sales team.
- Build sustainable internal and external relationships.
