About the role

As the Engagement and Partnerships Officer (Fine Arts and Music), you will provide the transactional event and communications support for the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music’s unique cultural event and performance program.

In this role, you will coordinate the Faculty’s ticketing system, draft and send event EDMs, manage industry lists and databases, collate and edit event print programs, and manage RSVPs.

As the Engagement and Partnerships Officer, you will be part of the University’s Communications and Marketing Divisional group (UC&M) that services the Faculty of Fine Arts (FAM) and Faculty of Arts (FoA). The team is responsible for growing the reputation of both academic divisions and delivering activities that support their broader reputation, research and recruitment objectives.

About you

The appointee is required to be able to build strong stakeholder relationships with academic staff across the academic division to support the delivery of the event and performance program.

You are a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside close attention to detail, proof reading and editing ability to craft messages for a variety of platforms and target audiences. You will be able to utilise your high organisation skills in order to prioritise your work and be able to work efficiently and autonomously alongside multiple projects.

You will further have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience coordinating partnership, sponsorship or loyalty programs
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders to deliver projects
