Working Hours: Permanent, full-time (plus evenings and weekends for events as required)

Role Description 

To maximise ticket sales and revenue by providing effective ticketing information and advice; and proactively managing inventory, ticket agents and allocations.

Who you are 

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of live event ticketing gained in a Box Office, ticket agent or, ideally, promoter environment

  • Excellent numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in using Excel at intermediate or above level

  • Excellent literacy skills with a proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues up to Executive board-level

  • Previous experience of managing event ticketing and allocations would be desirable

  • Ensuring all ticketing systems, reporting and processes are followed and up to date

  • Ensuring tasks are completed within agreed time frames

  • Great attention to detail ensuring the accuracy of information across reports and event set ups

  • Identifying opportunities and summarising challenges for the management team and promoter to instruct actions

  • Identifying areas of improvement for department efficiency

What the role includes 

  • Liaise with Promoters, venues, ticket agents and other stakeholders to advise on and manage the ticketing for Cuffe & Taylor concerts including theatre, arena and stadia tours (and potentially festivals and other events)

  • Prepare events for on-sale by confirming and configuring event details including:

  • manifests, seating plans, price structures

  • marketing partner, artist / fan club, record label and other presales

  • internal, VIP, ticket agent and other holds and allocations

  • booking fees, rebates, ticket text, stock and fulfilment

  • reporting schedules with venues and agents

  • Administer events in EOS (our in-house event operating system) and maximise ticket sales and revenue by monitoring and analysing sales to proactively manage inventory, ticket agents and allocations. Liaising with the marketing team to create and manage ticket offers as part of marketing campaigns

  • Produce biweekly sales reports for all shows plus any adhoc reporting required. Finalising shows upon completion of events.

  • Work on-site at outdoor events (potentially including festivals) as required; including weekends and evenings and overseeing and/or staffing Box Office operations

  • Process internal ticket orders including artist management and label requests; raising invoice requisitions as appropriate

  • Any other reasonable ad hoc duties
