Motorsport Tickets is a specialist online motorsport experience company embarking on an exciting journey to reach out to international customers and create our own unique travel experiences. We are looking for an innovative and energetic Graphic Designer to join our marketing team based in London. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centric designs and content across all of our marketing channels.

Responsibilities

  • A varied lead creative role that is central for driving passion and a visual design ethos in everything we create
  • Creative thinking to product new ideas and concepts, that shapes the visual identity of our brand
  • Work with the marketing team to create best in class visual assets and visual content that provides a consistent approach and works across all channels. Including:
    • website layouts and content that maximises the user experience and responds to its environment
    • fun and engaging social media imagery, video, and animation
    • user-centric design approach for emails that seamless work across different email clients
    • eye-catching display banners and print advertisements to generate sales leads
    • other ad hoc design elements, including stand designs, consumer packs
  • Produce creative guideline documentation where appropriate and lead the creation of templated solutions
  • Work with wider business units, copywriters and Head of Marketing to produce final deigns
  • Liaise closely with the Event Managers to ensure designs maximise sales opportunities and site conversion
  • Design internal communication materials and presentations to support the business needs
  • Manage and own the design function workload; carefully planning tasks, monitoring execution, managing expectations and communicating with the wider business
  • Implementation of department processes and communication streams to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Conduct continual analysis of competitor activity both onsite and across digital marketing channels, analyse and keep up-to-date with competitor activity across digital marketing channels, as well as the key market trends, and new developments

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree educated in graphic and/or web design
  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a design role within an ecommerce environment
  • Experience in the creation of static and animated graphics, infographics and digital advertising media content
  • Demonstrable ability to innovate original concepts and evolve creative ideas into finalised solutions
  • Outstanding creative and graphic design skills with the ability to demonstrate clear understanding of brand identity
  • Experience in website design including usability and responsive websites
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Animate
  • Good knowledge of HTML and CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript a plus
  • Ability to deliver high-quality content to deadlines within a fast-paced environment across multiple projects
  • A team player who is a positive, personable, enthusiastic, and motivated individual
  • Applications should include portfolios that showcase a strong selection of responsive, desktop/tablet/mobile landing pages, animated graphics, social content, email campaigns and site design and creative work
  • Photography skills also an advantage
  • An interest in motorsport and/or travel would be advantageous
