Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Managing Director to serve as senior representation for TixTrack’s UK operations. This position is responsible for managing strategy for our UK business and ensuring operations are performing efficiently and effectively for long-term success. This position reports directly to the COO.

Preference will be given to candidates living in/near the London area. This will be a hybrid position with the ability to work remotely while coming into the London office on an as-needed basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic industry relationships for future growth opportunities.
  • Onboard and manage key clients, while acting as senior representation on issues that are escalated by the UK team.
  • Draw on relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs enterprise-wide and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Uphold the organization’s policies and standards and ensure that legislative regulations are being followed.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
  • Assist with various administrative items including onboarding/offboarding, payroll, office safety/compliance and policy implementation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or related field required. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience with a diverse business background.
  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business functions and principles.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines a plus.
  • Experience with UK theater industry preferred. West End experience a plus.
