Role Description

An exciting opportunity to utilise your SQL, SSRS and Excel skills to produce ticketing focussed reports and provide management information (MI) to support business decision-making within the largest concert promoter in the UK.

Who you are

You may have experience in the following roles: SQL Exec, Data Analyst, Reporting Executive, Management Information Analyst, Ticketing Analyst, Event Ticketing Manager                          

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Demonstrable experience writing SQL queries (including CTEs, views, stored procedures) and creating automated SSRS reports is essential
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of using MS Excel to an advanced level is essential
  • Experience with other data visualisation / BI tools a bonus.
  • Excellent numeracy skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise written communication skills.
  • Previous experience of reporting on and analysing data, ideally in a ticketing environment
  • Previous experience of live event ticketing and/or live music industry is preferred.

What the role includes

  • Design, build, maintain and improve reporting solutions using SQL, SSRS and other business intelligence tools
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate into SQL scripts / automated SSRS reporting solutions
  • Deliver, manage and improve daily and weekly Excel-based ticketing reports for distribution to the wider business
  • Proactively engage with a wide range of colleagues to identify operational processes that would benefit from automated reporting; working closely with all departments to create efficient solutions
  • Proactively engage with current reporting processes to identify improvements to increase reporting capability and efficiency
  • Maintain data integrity throughout Live Nation Event Ticketing’s database (EOS)
  • Deliver small to medium size reporting & analysis projects when required.
  • Support Management Information team in any other management information duties as required & provide cover in their absence
  • Assist Event Ticketing team with any reporting, processes or general administration as required
