Front Gate Tickets is North America’s leading software and operations provider for the festival market. We provide technical solutions for e-commerce ticketing, access control, data management, and fan engagement. We partner and run on-site operations for over 200 festivals each year and are on a massive growth trajectory matched by no one in the industry. We do it for the fans!

Front Gate is owned by Live Nation Entertainment and acts as Ticketmaster’s festival arm. We have two offices located in Austin, TX.

THE TEAM:

The Marketing team at Front Gate Tickets helps some of the largest music festivals in the world (EDC Las Vegas, Bonnaroo, ACL Fest, Governors Ball + more) sell more tickets by activating our marketing suite of product offerings against our first party database of over 100 million ticket buyers. We work directly with clients and vendors throughout the entire festival lifecycle to create cross-channel media plans, that will help festivals reach their goals. Some of our tasks for both our festival clients and our brand include producing content for emails, social, and blog posts, activating paid media campaigns across all major ad partners, e-commerce data analysis via Google Analytics, and managing placements within Google Tag Manager.

We are looking for individuals who succeed in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment, who are excited to be the marketing subject matter expert for our clients.

THE ROLE:

The Senior Director, Marketing is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all Front Gate Tickets marketing initiatives, strategies, and communications utilizing a variety of mediums including, but not limited to social media, digital promotions, eCommerce marketing, and branding.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

  • Plan, develop, and implement strategic marketing initiatives coordinating with multiple departments and team members

  • Oversee marketing campaigns to increase ticket sales

  • Lead social media marketing initiatives to drive ticket sales and increase awareness

  • Effectively manage promotional and marketing budget

  • Identify marketing opportunities through increasing knowledge of customers and clients, defining market, and evaluating competition

  • Identify and close deals with marketing and digital partners to extend reach

  • Create, maintain, and review analytics assessing success of promotions and initiatives

  • Manage staff who compose and edit consumer-facing communications including email blasts, social media updates, advertising, and press releases

  • Consult with clients on creating effective digital promotions and other marketing assets

  • Interface with parent company’s marketing teams on new initiatives, industry best practices

  • Identify opportunities for expanded reach through new product offerings, initiatives and integrations

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • 5+ years marketing or advertising experience; entertainment and/or ticketing industry experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Extensive experience with social media campaigns, digital promotions, ecommerce, and strategic marketing

  • Experience with brand management, product development, and public relations

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills

  • Strong strategic, creative and conceptual abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Resourceful self-starter who takes action and responds quickly to change with a positive attitude

  • Exceptional follow-through skills

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail while maintaining high work standards

  • Shows a passion for the work that inspires others

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment as a collaborative, inclusive, and flexible team member
