POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Prudential Center is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Ticket Operations Events who will report to our Director, Ticket Operations Events. The Senior Manager’s primary responsibility will be to manage day-to-day ticket operations of our premium business, utilizing Ticketmaster ticketing software for all event creations, reporting and ticket resolution. This position will collaborate with management in various departments including but not limited to sales, event booking, facility operations and finance to provide a professional, efficient and customer friendly experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Ownership of all ticketing items related to event life cycle – build, on-sale, sell-through, distribution, and settlement.
  • Build and update ticketed events through Ticketmaster EMT and Archtics.
  • Coordinate all event information, ticket pricing, and seating configuration with event promoter, internal staff, and Ticketmaster.
  • Monitor sales trends, manage change requests to pricing and inventory, and circulate event reports and audits.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and promoter to implement sales strategy and oversee presales and promotions.
  • Coordinate with Premium Services department and build inventory and pricing in Archtics.
  • Manage operational timeline for premium client ticket delivery. Assign proper seat allocation for premium accounts and assist with mobile ticket distribution.
  • Monitor existing standard operating procedures and develop new innovative strategies to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Continually improve customer buying experience and customer service.
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, training and supervising staff in all aspects of Box Office and Ticket Operations, including customer service, cashiering procedures, and Ticketmaster Host, TMone Sales and Archtics systems.
  • Determine and coordinate event day cash requirements and post-event reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate record of daily cash balance in vault and audit records for cash deposits, change, and withdrawals.
  • Service internal requests such as ticket purchases and resolution.
  • All other tasks, responsibilities, and projects that may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Preferred 5 years of ticketing experience in Box Office or Ticket Operations and experience with promoters and event builds.  Preferred at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Ticketmaster Host and Archtics systems.
  • Possess excellent customer service and organization. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Self-starter and creative thinker.
  • Remains organized in a very fast paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work varying schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
