Position Summary

In this role, you will be playing a key role in the design, implementation, testing and deployment of Vendini software systems. You will be responsible for developing programs that will drive our systems to the next generation of products.

Key responsibilities

• Ability to handle full stack web and mobile application development with a variety of languages including but not limited to PHP, JavaScript and Typescript.
• Create enterprise and consumer products and features.
• Implement web and mobile interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to shape new features and build the next generation of products leveraging frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React.
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure engineers to build and scale back-end services powering applications and APIs.
• Build report interfaces and data feeds.
• Solves uniquely complex problems working in team with software architects and the VP of Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

• 3+ years of programming experience with continuous integration practices.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• 3+ years of experience with web technologies: PHP, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment.
• Motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects.
• Demonstrated understanding of a project from the perspective of both the customer and business.
• Exhibits technical and operational proficiency solving complex problems.
• Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience with API design, web application security and online payment systems.
• Experience with data warehousing and data visualization.
• Experience with datacenter automation and continuous delivery.
