The Manager guides a team to implement tactical direction against organizational goals. They lead the operations and activities of an area and work with partners and customers to ensure the quality of execution in their area, spending 30% of their time developing people and their team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to join the eBay group, the world’s largest ecommerce company, in the EMEA P&T leadership role for StubHub.  Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering based in Madrid / Bilbao, the Development Manager will be responsible for all the development of a company product.

StubHub is looking for an experienced development leader with a corporate mindset and a proven track record of developing enterprise level services. The successful candidate will hold full day-to-day responsibility for building top-notch services. He will be responsible for building a highly effective team in an agile environment and micro-service architecture.

Along with a strong technical background, the candidates will also excel in collaborating across development centers, in building a network of peers and stakeholders, always assuring the alignment of his team. The Development Manager will demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. His business acumen will allow him to drive the right decisions and always engaging the right people.

PRIMARY ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES
