Ticketing: Business Development & Partnerships Manager

Where do you come in?
We’re looking for a full-time (or part-time for the right candidate) New Business & Partnerships Manager who shares our values and can help us grow by bringing on board new event organisers.
You’ll be passionate about the events sector and focused on securing new business for us. You’ll be comfortable working to targets, confident of reaching them, and enjoy the rewards and benefits which come from achieving them.
We’re based in Cheltenham Melbourne, but are flexible on working arrangements, including location and hours.
The position requires:
– A highly professional communicator, with the ability to build relationships and develop opportunities across the breadth of the events sector.
– At least 3 years of sales experience in the ticketing or events sector.
– A passion for sourcing and winning new business – turning prospects into sales opportunities via your own network and cold calling.
– Exceptional attention to detail.
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office’s core suite of products
– Occasional interstate travel is required to build relevant relationships, attend conferences and contribute to your central goal: winning great new clients, whose events we ticket on Ticketebo!
Job Description, main duties, and responsibilities:
– Develop sales strategies and identify new market opportunities.
– Pro-actively bring in new clients to maximise growth in ticket sales and revenues.
– Conduct and maintain analysis of our competitors to enable us to pitch to prospective clients appropriately.
– Contribute to our product development strategies by identifying market requirements and opportunities.
– Maintain and update leads contact records and account information.
– Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities and optimal use of our products and services.
– Respond to incoming sales opportunities and product information requests
– Attend trade shows & conferences to represent and showcase the company.
– Present company products and services in a structured, professional manner.
