Ticketing Specialist
Full time, permanent, £22,269
Average of 37.5 hours a week, including evening and weekends.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of HfC. If you are great at dealing with people and have a keen eye for all the details – this is an exciting and rewarding position in our new re-built theatre.
What you’ll be doing
- Selling tickets, group bookings, season bundles, subscriptions and memberships
- encouraging our audiences to develop their relationship with HfC through every visit
- Managing queues and keeping things moving
- Handling payments securely and encouraging our customers to pre-order drinks, programmes and interval ice creams.
- Helping all our audiences have a great time at the theatre by assisting wherever’s needed, to deliver a first-class welcome every time.
Who we’re looking for
- Excellent standards of personal presentation, smart appearance and articulate
- Knowledge and skills of working in a reservations/sales/ reception environment
- Experience of using databases and applying GDPR regulations
- Highly approachable and personable
- Clear and confident verbal communicator
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Numerate with knowledge of till operation and cash handling
- An interest in theatre and performing arts
- Knowledge of Spektrix ticketing software (desirable)
