Job Role:             Account Manager

Location:             We have offices in London, Manchester and Liverpool and there will also be an  opportunity to work remotely

Hours:                  37.5 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Holidays:            33 days inclusive of bank holidays

Reporting To:    Head of Account Management

Skiddle was born in 2001 as a what’s on guide and began selling tickets in 2006 and is now one of the UK’s most loved ticketing services selling tickets for tens of thousands of events throughout the UK, from independent club nights through to 60,000 capacity festivals.

Role Summary:

This is largely a role where you will be constantly liaising with the biggest events in the country. You will be spending a lot of time in meetings, on the phone and visiting clients. This is a full-time role mainly Monday to Friday, however, when a deadline is looming, or a large account needs attention youll be expected to put the extra hours in to ensure success. The role is very sociable and involves a fair amount of hospitality and making clients feel valued by the continuing use of Skiddle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Using contacts to generate new business
  • Attending meetings with clients
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with promoters of varying disciplines
  • Advising clients on the best way to increase their ticket sales and event exposure
  • Maintaining the high standard of service and organisation expected from Skiddle
  • Adhering to KPIs and performance targets

Person Specification:

We’re looking for a talented, career-driven individual to join our team and who will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment upholding our core values through authenticity.

We are seeking an extremely organised individual who possesses a high level of communication both internally and externally with a desire to achieve, no matter how challenging the request with understanding and compassion.

Our ideal candidate will have come from a background of working in the ticketing or events industry. You’ll understand the events climate inside out and be capable of translating that passion into a business benefit.

Academic qualifications are valued but not vital, above all you must be able to demonstrate a clear frontline passion for events.
