THE TEAM

 

The Ticketmaster Sport Tournaments division provides ticketing services to an increasing number of international sporting tournaments and events, delivering industry-leading technology and services to the world’s largest and most high-profile events.

 

Our services have been employed to provide ticketing solutions and operations for a number of recent tournaments, including the Cricket World Cup 2019 – England, Rugby World Cup 2019 – Japan and the World Athletics Championships 2019 – Qatar, the Rugby League World Cup 2021 – England and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth games.

 

 

 

THE JOB

 

The Business Solutions Manager will be the product expert for our ticketing solutions, from a business and implementation perspective to ensure that we can work together with our clients to deliver outstanding ticketing technology and services which is scalable, strategic and reusable.

 

Working alongside various Ticketmaster teams and our clients’ operational teams, you will become the expert in our solutions and products, enabling our operational support teams and clients to make the most of the large breadth and depth of technology available to them from Ticketmaster.

 

Working alongside our Product Managers and clients, you will analyse our client operational requirements to help drive our strategic development roadmap to ensure that we continue to remain leaders in the delivery of tournament ticketing solutions.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Partner with our operations teams to implement our solutions to our tournament clients
  • Partner with our PMO to ensure that technology is being delivered according to the schedules of our client projects
  • Becoming an expert in our technology products and solutions to ensure that our operational support and ticketing systems support the complex needs or our tournament clients.
  • Partner with our teams to ensure that our solutions are strategically designed to support our tournament client ticketing needs
  • Providing expert knowledge and  support to our project managers and operations teams in any needs they have in relation to our products and technologies.
  • Coordinating with our testing, security and compliance teams to meet internal and client needs.
  • Creating and maintaining user documentation and other supporting material.
  • Devising and delivering training to our operational teams and tournament clients
  • Developing and implementing user support solutions to our operational and client teams and working with our product support teams to ensure that contractual service levels are met to deliver a best-in-class service.
  • Responsibility for supporting our business development teams where required for tender responses and leading solution demonstrations to our clients and prospects
  • Any other tasks as defined by the Ticketmaster Sport – Tournaments Management Team.

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Skilled in the technical and operational construct of ticketing systems including understanding the technical requirements to enable the sale of tickets through multiple sales channels. Knowledge of the ticketing systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to develop and lead on solution strategies and organise tasks
  • Computer and technical skills
  • English language essential.
