The Role

We are looking to welcome a Client Relationship Manager – Ticketing on a permanent, ongoing basis. Reporting to the Ticketing Manager, the Client Relationship Manager – Ticketing has responsibility for managing the provision of ticketing services to key internal and external customers to consistently deliver events at Melbourne & Olympic Parks to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relations with key external stakeholders (promoters, tenant clubs and venue hirers)
  • Coordination of all aspects of ticketing services and ticketing operations with internal stakeholders (venue teams, finance and communications departments)
  • Work closely with Melbourne & Olympic Parks’ ticketing supplier regarding event builds, marketing, event day ticketing operations, event briefings, reporting and reconciliations
  • Assist hirers through the provision of strategic advice regarding ticketing pricing, sales projections and marketing throughout an event’s lifecycle
  • Coordinate the distribution of key event information to Melbourne & Olympic Parks’ guests through venue and ticketing partner channels
  • Provide internal and external reporting to monitor event sales tracking.

About You

  • Proven industry experience within the event ticketing industry
  • Sound technical skills and understanding of ticketing systems
  • A strong understanding of ticketing operations for events (entertainment and sports) held in multi purpose venues
  • Relationship management skills and ability to foster and grow client relationships
  • Project management skills including attention to detail, thorough planning skills and the ability to maintain a high level of adaptability
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and to effectively handle and resolve client and guest issues
  • Strong communication and arithmetical skills
  • Understanding of both client and guest needs and drivers
  • Proven ability in the use of key Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in event/ticketing marketing and sales strategies (desirable)
