THE JOB

Under the direction of the GM – Marketing, Moshtix the role of the Content and Campaigns Editor is to produce, edit and manage content and campaigns across the Moshtix site and social entities, along with assisting in the development and execution of the digital marketing plans. You’re a passionate marketer, with a love of live entertainment. With a hunger to grow and learn, you’ll be a self-starter and great team player that contributes to the wider objectives of the business. You understand the importance of relationship building, are fast on your feet, and have a keen eye for detail especially when it comes to analytics. You’re incredibly organised and can juggle tasks like a pro, taking pride in your work, your team and the moshtix brand.

Above all else, your obsessed with getting results and creating value through data, and are hugely excited at the prospect of helping to position moshtix as a leader in the digital space.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

  • Use of web content management tools to generate and publish content.
  • Copywriting, proof-reading and maintaining content for web, eshots, newsletters, infographics, digital and print banners, social media and creative marketing campaigns.
  • Management of a number of creative campaigns; editing content, production of promotional assets including digital and print banners, co-ordination of social media support and creation of content for eshots.
  • Ensure content is optimised for SEO and best practice is implemented across all digital elements.
  • Content build and proof-reading for the weekly Moshtix newsletter to 1 million customers.
  • Maintaining consistency in the tone of voice for Moshtix
  • Generation of reports and maintaining accurate web stats for post campaign analysis for circulation to wider team and senior stakeholders.
  • Work to tight deadlines without compromising quality of work.
  • Measure and report on delivered strategies, ROI and insights gained and assess against objectives.
  • Design and execute creative for marketing initiatives including social media promotions and microsites.
  • Ensure that Moshtix style guide is followed for logos, images and text so that the overall style and image of Moshtix remains uniform.
  • Collaborate with both Marketing and Client Management team to ensure delivery of brand and client objectives across a range or products such as: EDM templates, websites, pitch treatments, advertising, display & video incorporation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of clients, both internal and external, and industry personnel from a creative design perspective.
  • Negotiate, establish and provide clear timelines for all tasks so that clear expectations are set and subsequent deadlines met.
  • Other duties as directed.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

Experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience is successfully managing digital marketing campaigns within an agency/ face-paced environment
  • Proficient in creating social content and marketing strategic recommendations for best use of content in digital
  • Experience managing Facebook Pages, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google AdWords, Google Analytics etc, will be highly regarded as will a tertiary qualification in Business/ Marketing
  • Fluent knowledge of the Digital eco-system and ability to keep up to date with trends in this space.
  • Shows a proven track record working in a high performance marketing team in a face paced industry
  • Must be fluent in English.

Technical Skills

Some proficiency with the following software and tools:

  • Adobe Create Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional and Distiller.
  • MS Office Suite
  • Digital Imaging
  • Knowledge of latest web trends and technologies

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to build effective relationships with a broad range of people from junior staff, to senior leaders across the business and clients.
  • Ability to relate to people on all levels by quickly establishing rapport and maintain effective business relationships. Must show initiative and be proactive at all times. Must have a strong commitment to the provision of service excellence.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time to ensure deadlines and business needs are met. Ability to negotiate and set targets, and prioritise workloads accordingly.
  • Is able to obtain briefs, devise strategies and crate programs. Must be able to forward plan to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and devise and implement strategies to resolve the problem.
  • Demonstrated ability to accommodate and adapt changing needs of the business in a highly pressured working environment. Also demonstrates the ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Show commitment to the achievement of results by consistently measuring outcomes against a standard of excellence and improving of results through innovation.
