Owned by Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer, Nimax Theatres is an entrepreneurial and innovative organisation that owns and operates six theatres in the heart of London’s West End – the Apollo, Duchess, Garrick, Lyric, Palace, and Vaudeville. About the role

The Data & Insights Manager is a new role within Nimax’s Ticketing & Sales department, and will work closely with the Head of Ticketing to analyse Nimax’s audience and ticket sales data, maintain Nimax customer databases, understand and present sales patterns and trends, and forecast ahead.

 

This is a part time role at either two or three days a week, dependent on the successful applicant.

 

Key duties and responsibilities

 

  • Develop Nimax’s strategic use of data intelligence and insight to reach audiences and ticket bookers.
  • Develop and maintain contact databases and data dashboard and reports across the Nimax Ticketing & Sales team both within and outside of our ticketing platform in a secure manner.
  • Develop informed customer segmentation to better understand our audiences and empower effective communication strategies.
  • Research and gather data effectively in an ethical and factual manner, adhering to the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Manage the effective collection, analysis and use of market intelligence, audience research and sales data to inform and track ticket revenue and engagement goals.
  • Work collaboratively within the Ticketing & Sales team and wider Nimax departments to effectively facilitate data driven decisions.
  • Provide clear, concise and outcome-driven data reports as required.
  • Work with the Head of Ticketing to identify sales and customer service targets, monitoring the development and outcomes.
  • Carry out additional administrative data duties within the Ticketing & Sales team as directed by the Head of Ticketing.

Person specification

Essential

  • Proven experience in a similar or related role
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a mind for identifying and investigating patterns
  • Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills, and working to deadlines successfully.
  • Attention to detail and results-focused
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a practical and supportive approach to problem solving
  • Experience/understanding of ticketing systems, partner agencies and CRM marketing databases
  • Experience/understanding of audience development strategies, data segmentation and analysis techniques

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge/use of NLiven or similar Ticketing Software
  • Knowledge/use of CRM systems
  • Knowledge/use of other data analysis platforms and/or coding
