Deputy Sales & Ticketing Manager 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded individual with experience in supervising or managing a team to join us as a Deputy Sales & Ticketing Manager, to achieve and exceed targets, who has a collaborative nature and a flexible and creative approach to assist in running our busy box office.

The Duke of York’s Theatre is one of ATG London’s Playhouse venues, seating 645 patrons across 3 levels. Housing on average 4-5 productions a year as well as numerous one-night events, the Duke’s boasts an exciting and ever-changing working environment. Most recent programming includes Vanya staring Andrew Scott, The Pillowman staring Lily Allen & Steve Pemberton and Shirley Valentine staring Sheridan Smith. Upcoming productions include Backstairs Billy starring Penelope Wilton & Luke Evans and An Enemy of the People starring Matt Smith.

Reporting to the Sales & Ticketing Manager, you will have a shared responsibility for managing the ticketing system, maintaining producer and stakeholder relationships and ensuring that the audience receives the best service & visitor experience.

The focus of the role is:

  • Proactively maximise the sale of tickets, Private Property seats and packages as much as possible combined with ensuring our teams deliver the best customer experience.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Box Office to a high level, with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Liaise with the London Sales team and show producers for proactive management of inventory to maximise sales, ensuring producer targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate reporting as required to producers, internal ATG teams and venue management.
  • Ensure access customers are supported in their visit to the venue including monitoring access bookings and delivery of access performances.

This position is a full-time contract of 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. Previous applicants need not apply.
