Can you support a team to offer excellent customer service and to achieve targets? We have an opportunity for a Deputy Ticketing & Sales Manager to join our team at Edinburgh Playhouse. As Deputy Ticketing & Sales Manager you’ll help run an efficient Box Office, including proactively selling tickets and ancillary products or packages, and working closely with ATG’s central Ticketing and Memberships teams to ensure we’re using our ticket inventory in the most effective way possible. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of achieving sales results and have great people skills, in order to lead a dedicated Box Office team.

The Ambassador Theatre Group is a world leader in live entertainment; we operate venues, run major ticketing platforms and produce award-winning shows. We strive to be ambitious, passionate, smart and collaborative in everything we do. The Edinburgh Playhouse is one of our largest venues, with over 3000 seats, hosting popular musicals, high profile comedians, live music and more.

Please take a look at our job description download for further details; if you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we’d like to hear from you! We actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible.

If you’d like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please review our job description where you will see a contact e mail address to request a confidential discussion.
