Role Description

To co-ordinate ticketing on European tours and maximise ticket sales for Live Nation Touring events across UK and Europe by providing management information (MI) that supports business decision-making; to increase efficiency by streamlining ticketing processes and procedures.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Previous experience of reporting on and analysing data, ideally in a ticketing environment
  • Previous experience of live event ticketing in the music industry is preferred
  • An understanding of Microsoft SQL and SSRS or other similar reporting tools and systems is desirable
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of using Excel to an advanced level is required
  • Excellent numeracy skills with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent literacy skills with a proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues up to executive board-level

What the role includes

  • Manage end-to-end event ticketing for a variety of artists & tours. Duties to include liaising with agents, managers, EU and NA Live Nation tour bookers and ticketing managers across multiple markets, preparing events for on sale, giving clear ticketing set up guidance, and maximising ticket sales
  • Some travel to European and UK based shows for ticketing tour management work as required
  • Twice weekly sales reporting on all EMEA tours
  • Manage and aid development of Live Nation ticketing software and specific data reporting requirements using excel and new software
  • Take ownership and manage relationship with charity reward scheme Global Citizen
  • Work closely with other Live Nation departments and IT to clearly define and deliver a product development roadmap for new ticket reporting and software
  • Produce ticketing focussed reports, and full pricing analysis to improve our ability to measure, monitor and manage the performance of EU ticketing and ticket agents
  • Support Director of Ticketing, EMEA in conducting research and analysis to produce management information that supports strategic decision-making across the business
  • Support Director of Ticketing, EMEA in any other duties as required & provide cover in their absence
