Working Hours: Full time Mon-Fri plus onsite evening and weekend working at festivals
Contract Type: Fixed term until Sept 2024

Role Description

This is an opportunity to lead the small team who distribute, reconcile and report on all guest and complimentary tickets for Festival Republic and Live Nation’s UK festivals. The role involves a high level of responsibility as well as the chance to work across Live Nation Entertainments festivals both onsite and from our London HQ. We’re looking for a ticketing professional who is motivated to deliver and passionate about managing a team.

  • Proven ticketing experience with working knowledge of Ticketmaster or similar ticketing system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of staff management
  • The ability to communicate and liaise competently and confidently with staff and customers.

What the role includes

 

  • Responsible for the successful delivery of guest and complimentary ticketing operations across multiple events in office and onsite
  • Work across event setup and build on Ticketmaster ticketing platform (Universe) whilst managing inventory and ticket codes
  • Manage the guest ticketing assistant, leading in-house training on ticketing processes, responsible for delegating tasks, managing on-site duties, monitoring workload and feeding back to Line Manager on workflow
  • Liaise with numerous internal departments on their individual ticketing requirements for each show and ensuring good communication with department heads, particularly when working on multiple events simultaneously, establishing high priority departments with Line Manager and ensuring those requirements are efficiently managed
  • Maintain accurate records for all orders as they are processed and distributed
  • Lead on customer service relating to guest, complimentary and resident ticket holders across all events
  • Oversee contractual ticket fulfilment for marketing partners
  • Copywrite for event pages and ticketing communications
  • Liaise directly with Ticketmaster on ticketing process, feeding back on problems and working directly to find solutions, managing on-site hardware requirements
  • Work onsite based in the Guest Check-In, responsible for training onsite staff in relation to ticketing, resolution of guest/complimentary ticket queries and processing last minute ticket requests/order amendments.
  • Produce regular reports and end of year audits, providing a full breakdown of tickets issued and redeemed and assist the Finance department in the reconciliation of guest ticket revenue
  • Ensure laptops/hardware for the team are returned to Line Manager at end of season
