We’re looking for a Head of Arts and Culture (Europe) to join our team in London to take ownership for driving revenue and growth across our Arts and Culture team with the opportunity to expand into our European markets France, Italy and Spain.

THE ROLE AND TEAM 

One of our major areas of growth is Arts & Cultural events outside of Music, like our partnerships with Sink The Pink, Berk’s Nest Productions, NBCUniversal and Acast. Your role will be to develop and implement the strategy to grow DICE further into these new verticals outside of music, including but not limited to Comedy, Literature and Talks, Podcasts, Theatre, Film, Wellness and more.

You will be responsible for helping us win the biggest and best deals across the arts and culture space whilst leading a high performing team to deliver against our ambitious growth goals.

It’s a huge remit, but you’re inspired by that challenge, and you’ll know what it takes to build and coach the team around you to deliver.

You will excel at pitching and presenting, and be extremely confident selling DICE as the ultimate partner. Your targets will be around growth and sales, and you’ll come with a ready-to-go network that delivers a quick impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an arts and culture strategy for DICE by leveraging your industry knowledge and network.
  • Secure high-value arts and culture partnerships leading activities across the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contracting. You will lead on the biggest partnerships by building senior relationships and evangelising DICE.
  • Leverage knowledge of the DICE platform and industry best practices to win new partnerships
  • Find creative opportunities to build partnerships that will accelerate DICE’s growth in the medium and long term.
  • Drive successful experiences for our partners with an emphasis on strategic planning, engagement implementation, feature adoption, and analytical decision making
  • Build and maintain valued relationships with partners to drive partner revenue and ensure retention
  • Work cross-functionally with our Content, Accounts, Brand, Product, Event and Client success teams.
  • Advance DICE’s reputation in the marketplace through active thought leadership.
  • Hire, lead and mentor the growing team. You will identify and pursue the best talent to build a winning team.

Requirements:

  • Strategy: You are a strategic thinker, you can be creative as well as analytical in your approach.
  • Leadership: You’re comfortable building, training and retaining a growing team, and understand the power of effective leadership.
  • Sales: A stellar track record in navigating the full sales cycle of complex relationships, winning deals is something that gets you up in the morning and you love coaching others through the sales process.
  • Communication: You’re a fantastic storyteller and have first-class communication skills. From email tone and delivering effective meetings to prompt follow-ups and clear opportunity mapping, you pride yourself in the speed and efficiency of your comms.
  • Teamwork: We’re a global business and that means there are so many different people to learn from and collaborate with. You have strong experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and recognise the art of strong teamwork.
  • Reporting: Experience with Salesforce is a must as you’ll be responsible for managing your sales forecast and team using the platform.
  • Network: From your experience within the industry, you’ll bring an extensive network of music industry contacts—venues, promoters and talent
  • Ticketing experience is a bonus.
