We are looking for a Head of Expansion to build and lead the expansion team for North America from our New York HQ.

About The Role

The Head of Expansion, New York will be responsible for managing and coordinating DICE’S rapid expansion. This includes research and analysis, localised team build out, product feedback and prioritisation and ownership of the launch timeline and budgets to make sure that we expand on target. The role will work closely with the Content and Operations teams, and report directly to the VP Content, North America.

You’ll be

  • Building on and developing our go-to-market playbook, alongside the VP Content, North America
  • Building the dedicated expansion team who are responsible for analysis, implementation and product requirements in new markets
  • Conducting competitor and data analysis to support the expansion prioritisation and strategy
  • Determining the resources and team headcount required to deliver an effective roll-out of DICE’s offering, and work with the talent team to identify those key hires
  • Providing the resources and tools to new market teams to enable them to deliver our world-leading fan and partner proposition at a hyper-local level
  • Working with the product team to inform the roadmap planning and prioritisation of deliverables for compliance in new markets
  • Controlling market feasibility budget, monitoring and managing new market budgets
  • Owning expansion plan targets and launch timings and driving local markets accountability
  • Carrying out post launch reviews to establish learnings and best practice
  • Communicating with key stakeholders, through accurate and timely reporting
  • Researching and implementing new product ideas into existing and new markets

You’ll need

  • A proven track record in a leadership role driving operations at an executive level at a high growth scale-up (Preferably with a renowned fast-growing business)
  • Experience launching a new product or service into multiple foreign markets
  • The ability to create an inclusive culture of continuous learning through the giving and receiving of constructive feedback, mentoring and coaching .
  • Experience launching a new product or service into multiple foreign markets
  • Experience launching a new product or service into multiple regional US markets
  • Intimate knowledge of Canadian and Mexican commercial landscape with experience growing a domestic product further into North America (bonus)
  • MBA (bonus, not essential)
  • Live events and/or ticketing experience (bonus, not essential)
  • Bilingual (Bonus, not essential)
