OUR BRANDS & CHANNELS

Chiliz is our blockchain and digital currency, which powers Socios.com,which is the world’s first fan voting and rewards platform. We produce digital assets called Fan Tokens for our partner teams, which fans use to vote in team-specific polls to reward their passion with once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

THE ROLE

We’re now looking for someone with an in-depth history of operationally managing loyalty and rewards programs within digital platforms to oversee, help evolve and grow Socios.com’s Rewards Zone loyalty redemption program. This includes oversight of rewards inventory logistics, user redemption, and an influence on the UX and user journey flow of this feature as we look to develop it into the core value pillar of our fan engagement platform.

By defining both the strategy and implementing it through the business and directly to users via our internal rewards and loyalty team, the successful candidate will have full ownership over the loyalty proposition for the company.

The rewards and loyalty programme is one of the key value propositions for Socios.com users, offering them the opportunity to win, earn and redeem thousands of prizes every year with our internal loyalty currency SSU a key part of that mechanism.

The ideal candidate will be excellent at building and maintaining relationships with multiple internal teams, and must be comfortable pushing boundaries to deliver an ambitious strategy whilst being prepared to innovate and evolve their programme as they and the business see fit.

The position can be based in our London or Madrid offices, but with regular travel to different office locations. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer at Socios.com

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Defining the overall vision for loyalty at Socios.com and the plan to deliver.
  • Owning the SSU (loyalty points) ecosystem, including (but not limited to) defining the redemption strategy, pricing, value of SSU and supporting the wider business on use of SSU to drive business objectives and growth;
  • Managing a team of 10 loyalty and rewards experts as they manage the global redemption, delivery and operational processes for users on our platform;
  • Devise the VIP strategy for Socios.com, working closely with the VIP & Rewards Manager to deliver activity that builds relationships with our key VIPs; growing and protecting their value over their in-life journey;
  • Owning the rewards portfolio – leading the thinking and testing of new and impactful rewards that delight our users. As part of this, working with and collaborating with the wider partnership team to advise on the types of rewards we need to build and supporting their efforts with our partners to attain them;
  • Working collaboratively across internal departments and stakeholders;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, loyalty schemes and articulating that across the management team as the loyalty expert in the business;
  • Developing self to improve performance in the current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant program would be considered an asset;
  • 6-8 years experience in running mass scale, global loyalty propositions;
  • Strong people management experience of mid-sized teams with multiple levels of role;
  • Exceptional relationship management;
  • Creative & innovative, you must be prepared to push boundaries to consistently wow our audiences;
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills;
  • Experience managing the development and implementation of loyalty programmes as well the operational delivery;
  • Knowledge of sport, especially football, is considered an advantage;
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
