Line manager: Managing Director

Salary level: Subject to skills, experience and behaviours (refer below)

Working hours: 40 hours per week | Typically Monday – Friday 09:00 – 18:00

Holidays: 25 per annum + public holidays

About the role:

EVENTIM UK works with some of the biggest events, venues, and artists in the world. Through our innovative and multi-channel marketing campaigns we seek to demonstrate the added value that EVENTIM can bring to an event and attract more clients each year.

As our Head of Marketing, you will be an advocate for the contribution that we make and lead our marketing department to execute on the promise of our ideas. Throughout your role you will permanently review our marketing strategy and take a data led approach to identify opportunities for improvement whilst also maximizing the best possible results from the resources available.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing the marketing department
  • Working with our colleagues across EVENTIM territories to keep abreast of new products and initiatives
  • Drive best practice in the UK. You will become THE subject matter expert on our marketing solutions
  • Acting as our client facing leader in all aspects of our marketing proposition; to include creating and retaining excellent relationships across our client base
  • Develop a weekly marketing planner that ensures a balance between the wishes of our customers and the needs of our clients, always with an eye on how best we can achieve the most effective results from our campaigns for the appropriate spend
  • Preparing and presenting B2B marketing collateral which demonstrate the benefits of working with us versus our competitors
  • Devise marketing plans for events and clients that make full use of our marketing solutions, as well as any additional opportunities provided by our media partners
  • Produce post event reporting and insights to demonstrate the value of our campaigns
  • Act as brand ambassador for EVENTIM; whilst developing a strong personal brand within our industry by regularly attending live events, conferences and networking events

Skills and experiences: 

Essential

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role within the ticketing or live entertainment industry
  • Client facing experience up to C-suite
  • A track record that has combined imagination with results
  • Demonstrable experience in all aspects of digital marketing
  • The ability to let the data lead you and be open to the answers that the data provide
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and data privacy
  • Strong organisational and project management skills; with the ability to prioritise time sensitive tasks
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Google Analytics
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information to a wide range of audiences
