Underbelly are looking for a Box Office Manager to work in our venues at Earls Court and Cavendish Square.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Box Office Manager you will be responsible for overseeing our onsite box offices and managing a small supervisor team.

The box office is responsible for selling tickets across the counter as well as over the phone. You will also be responsible for managing tickets sold through third parties and organising ticket collections. Additionally, you will respond to customer service emails and phone calls and assist visiting companies with ticketing enquires.

Main Duties:

Set up and management of all London box office activities for both London sites.
Managing tickets sold through third parties
Customer service emails and phone calls.
Management, recruitment, and training of all box office staff on site.
Set up, management and problem solving of IT systems for Box Offices to function as efficiently as possible.
Working with artists, promoters, and the programming team to facilitate their ticketing requests as well as provide ticketing support and advice.

Skills and experience required:

Excellent customer service skills and experience resolving issues and handling difficult or unhappy customers, both in person, over email and on the phone.
Experience working in a box office and using computerised ticketing systems is essential (we use VIA, so experience is these would be highly regarded)
Experience managing a small team, including organising staff rotas
The ability to remain cool under pressure and work independently
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail

Terms

Dates of work are late March to early August. You should be available to work for the entire period.

Rate of pay is £500/week.
