Job Summary:

THE TEAM

 

Working with the Sales and Business Development team, this role will be focused on delivering upon the requirements of Ticketmaster clients, promoters and their artists, through the development and delivery of products and services which seek to meet their needs. You will work in close collaboration with Ticketmaster clients and promoters, to deliver world-class ticketing campaigns. This role will also connect through the Client Development Manager to the Global TM Music team as part of delivering consistent service and standards for music clients in Australia & New Zealand.

 

THE JOB

 

 

The Operations Specialist – Music will be a key point of contact for Ticketmaster clients (Venue, Promoter and Producer) sharing knowledge, information and valuable client feedback with other colleagues (both nationally and internationally) to assist in the formulation and implementation of strategies to deliver highly successful music concerts and festivals.

 

You will maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure we are servicing their needs with Ticketmaster’s products, services and marketing strategies. The role will be responsible for the planning and support to deliver successful on-sale to entry plans, helping clients deliver great events and experiences for fans..

 

You will work across all Ticketmaster platforms and products, always seeking to drive efficiencies though integration, platform consolidation and client adoption of new tools and initiatives.

When required, you will be expected to present and demonstrate Ticketmaster’s passion, expertise, integrity, professionalism and technology leadership to our clients and identify opportunities to grow ticket revenue.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

  • Supporting the Client Development Manager and Senior Leaders in the Global TM Music division, you will assist with the execution of the strategy for Music and Festivals growth and revenue generation through driving the adoption of our products and services.

 

  • Understand our client goals, including marketing initiatives designed to promote both emerging artists as well as tentpole large scale touring campaigns, providing unrivaled excellence in industry knowledge and guidance for promoter and festival organisers.

 

 

  • Nurture, maintain and renew existing key client business, developing key relationships and new business.

 

  • Participate in relevant bids and ensure we increase our existing renewal rates, increase our revenue opportunities, and improve our contribution levels from new and existing clients.

 

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all our platform capabilities, working with each product and tech leads to ensure that our client needs are represented.

 

  • Work with the B2B Marketing team to create B2B marketing strategies for the Music and Festival genre including creating customised sales and marketing materials to suit varied potential audiences.

 

  • Work with teams across all departments to ensure the smooth operation of client business and to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised.
  • You will provide account management for key local promoter clients, working with them to develop tour proposals and briefs, providing reporting, and keeping proactive contact with individuals within client organisations to ensure their needs are being met
  • You will be instrumental in the rollout of new products and services, and will be required to drive adoption as they are launched in new markets
  • As required touring with major international tours to support the effective and consistent deliver of ticketing services on the tour.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

 

  • Proven demonstrable experience in sales in the ticketing industry with established relationships with; promoters, agents, managers and festival event organisers
  • Experience working in the live music industry, in particular the planning and management of music concerts and festivals.
  • Understanding of the Ticketmaster (or similar) product range
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasker who is proactive, logical and can handle several projects at once
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint essential
  • Salesforce experience, desirable.
