THE JOB

 

Ticketmaster Travel is a new service we are investing in, to expand the fan experience ‘beyond the ticket’, to grow client revenue & drive Live Nation Entertainment flywheel revenue.

 

The successful candidate will be self-driven, highly analytical, organised, a pro at juggling projects/priorities across multiple territories/clients & able to communicate/track down data across various functions & stakeholder levels, with a strong appetite to meet day-to-day operational & longer term strategic goals.

 

You will join a new division of our Global Commercial Team, at the start of its growth journey, providing an exciting opportunity to have a real impact on building & shaping a new LNE business from inception to scale & benefiting thereafter from the project’s trajectory as we grow revenue & make more senior roles available.

 

This means you will face challenges we are trying to solve for the first time, requiring you to be dynamic by nature & ready to push that extra mile, highly motivated by progression & wider mission.  This is ultimately a start-up with the added security of being part of the largest global entertainment biz.

 

At times it will be tough, with varying hours & time zones, but super rewarding as you will be part of a new & truly disruptive product in the entertainment space that will grow exponentially over the next few years thanks to our global scale.

 

Data is at the heart of everything we do here at Ticketmaster & as an aspiring leader in this field, you will have access to an envious amount of raw numbers, with the potential to unlock real insight to drive the direction & success of this project.

 

A degree in business, finance, economics, analytics or comparable/provable experience in financial modelling is essential, we are talking pro-level spreadsheet skills & ideally basic coding!

 

Experience working with data visualisation tools such as DOMO & Tableau desirable.

 

Experience in ticketing or travel verticals is not essential, but nice to have.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics, across partners & markets
  • Working with head office & local market teams to track OKR performance
  • Building pricing models for client proposals
  • Carry out analysis on new markets & verticals
  • Helping us size competition & market share
  • Data visualisation & publishing of data via tooling such as DOMO
  • Presenting useful & actionable insights or analysis in slide form on a regular basis
  • Ad-hoc support on execution of projects & day to day client needs at manager’s discretion
  • Feed into the development of pricing tools
  • Compile & analyse historical sales performance to inform dynamic pricing recommendations
  • Constantly review & advise on how to refine processes & product
  • Own, document & refine processes for all parts of your function at TM
  • Work closely with the business dev lead to activate & successfully execute new content opportunities

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS)

  • Proven experience working in an analytical role, driving business results or similar education
  • Degree in business, finance, economics, analytics or comparable/provable experience in financial modelling.
  • Enthusiasm for leading-edge technology
  • Excellent communication & relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate across functions and exec levels to get things done & acquire data from other divisions
  • SQL/basic coding – nice to have
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrable ability in interpreting and analysing data
  • Be able to present your data in a clear and compelling way
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to communicate and report to exec-level
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Extremely organised, and able to hit tight timelines
